Greenwood Community Band Festival
Everybody loves music. Some of us love it so much that we make it our #1 hobby, rehearsing it week after week and playing concerts for live audiences of listeners who look forward to the live entertainment we recreational musicians deliver. Back when we were kids getting started with playing instruments in school bands, the band room was where we forged friendships and created memories to last a lifetime. As we grew up and were handed our diplomas to start life as grown ups, it was hard to lay the horns down. It’s the community bands like ours that give us a priceless opportunity to get our chops back in shape, create new friendships, and forge new memories while giving back to the community.
Greenwood Concert Band Festival
Hundreds of musicians from seven other bands are flocking to our side of town to take part in an all day festival providing back-to-back entertainment. The Greenwood Amphitheater will come alive with the sound of thoroughly rehearsed concert band arrangements being played for audiences and bands alike. We reserved the Community Center next door to the stage.
